In August/September 2022 the class visited the Biennale di Venezia, where Mariana Castillo Deball was part of the artists' group exhibiting in the Mexican Pavilion.

The second part of the excursion led us to a small but long island called Pellestrina, which is part of the islands seperating the sea from the Venice lagoon. During our stay there we could collaborate with the enviromental NGO We Are Here Venice and visited the island's museums and the national reservation park Ca' Roman.
